Dr. Dave Eisenbart

Originally from Calgary, Dr. Eisenbart obtained his DVM degree in 2004 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and went on to complete an invaluable rotating small animal internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown. He remained at the College for another year to instruct elective surgery before moving to emergency and general small animal practice on a locum basis in the Halifax area. Dave returned to his hometown in 2007 to pursue a career in emergency medicine and lead the Emergency Service at the CARE Centre Animal Hospital for 10 years before he took on other leadership roles at CARE.

Through his work, Dave has developed a keen interest in emergency and critical care, but he also maintains a strong interest in surgery, behaviour, practice management and leadership. In his spare time he adventures around the country with his beautiful and supportive family, plays a lot of soccer, volunteers in his community and works on his home!
