Originally from Burlington, Ontario, Dr. John Murray obtained his DVM degree in 2008 from the Ontario Veterinary College and subsequently completed a rotating small animal internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. During this time, John developed an interest in emergency medicine. In 2009, John moved to Calgary to join the talented emergency team at the C.A.R.E. Centre. John considers emergency practice to be very rewarding and embraces the challenges and variety it provides, with particular interest in transfusion medicine, CPR, arrhythmias, trauma, and shock.
In his spare time, John enjoys basketball, soccer, snowboarding, camping, and hiking, and spending time with family including his Bernese Mountain Dog “Kramer”.
