Lauren is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, where she attended the University of Alberta prior to her acceptance into the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine program. She obtained her DVM degree in 2020 and then completed a small animal rotating internship at the CARE Centre. Lauren loves the fast-paced diversity of emergency medicine and the opportunity to support patients and clients through stressful events.
In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, making homemade pasta and hiking with her golden retrievers, Scout and Filson. She loves living in Calgary, where the mountains are close, the milkshake combinations at Peter's Drive-In are infinite, and the jokes about being an Edmontonian are endless!
