Cadence began her career in veterinary medicine in 2017 when she started working as an assistant at a general practice in Victoria. She decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician, and graduated as an RVT through the TRU distance program in 2021. Cadence made the switch to emergency and specialty medicine in 2022 when she began working in the ER department at Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital. She moved into the Internal Medicine department in 2023 and has been enjoying the role since. Cadence lives with her husband Andrew and son Jasper, and they are expecting their second son Theodore in June of 2026.
