Dr. Nutt graduated from the University of Guelph in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science and graduated from the OVC in 2012. She completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto and a surgical internship at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in Los Angeles. She completed her residency in small animal surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2017. She stayed on at the WCVM teaching hospital as a clinical associate in small animal surgery following her residency, passing her surgical board examinations in 2018.
When she isn't in surgery, Dr. Nutt enjoys cottaging, travelling and playing with her husband and son. She has two cats and two dogs that keep her on her toes.
