My name is Isabel Benavides, originally from Colombia. I graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor's in Health Science and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. My passion for animals has been present from a young age, but it wasn't until I completed the Olds College VTA program that I truly fell in love with the veterinary field. I have a mini Australian Shepherd named Leo and a domestic medium hair cat named Ash. In my downtime, you can catch me by the river or exploring new places within the city.
