Originally from Alberta, Dr. Wanamaker received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Calgary. He then completed an internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. After spending a few years in general and emergency practice in the Okanagan, Dr. Wanamaker began a radiology residency at the University of California, Davis. He became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) in 2019 and joined the team at Central Victoria in 2020.
Dr. Wanamaker enjoys all imaging modalities, but has a particular love of ultrasound. When not at work, he enjoys exploring the west coast with his Border Collie named Maia, playing hockey, travelling, or enjoying some home time with his cat, Ivy.
