Dr. Griffin is originally from Ontario and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College. After practicing as a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian for a number of years, she returned to school to complete residencies in both Radiation Oncology (board certified in 2014) and Radiology (board certified 2017) at Colorado State University, after which she stayed on for a number of years as faculty. In the fall of 2022, Dr. Griffin joined the diagnostic imaging team here at Central Victoria.

Dr. Griffin has a focus on cancer imaging in veterinary patients with many publications to her name on the subject, which she lectures on regularly. In her free time she likes to hang out with her dog, Lu and her 2 cats, Pickles and Olive. An avid outdoors person, she is looking forward to exploring the island and all the hiking, kayaking and gravel biking options that are available.
