Dr. Goodale attended the University of Guelph for Animal Biology before starting veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College. In vet school, Dr. Goodale focused in both equine and small animal species. After graduation in 2011, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and then spent a year working in small animal emergency medicine in London, Ontario prior to beginning her training in dermatology. She completed a 3-year residency at the University of California, Davis from 2013-2016 and then worked as a staff dermatologist at UC Davis for an additional two years. She has recently moved home to Ontario and has joined Yu Veterinary Dermatology at the Guelph Veterinary Specialty Hospital. She has a particular interest in immune mediated diseases and equine dermatology. Outside of dermatology, her interests include hiking, camping, yoga and doing agility with her mixed breed dog, Hugo.
