Dr. Agatha Kisiel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons who practices a variety of orthopaedic, soft tissue, oncologic, and minimally invasive surgery. She loves being part of a multidisciplinary team that allows pets to receive exceptional care.
Dr. Kisiel obtained her veterinary degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007 and completed a small animal rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) in PEI the year after. Following her internship year, she remained at the AVC where she completed her small animal surgical residency. Dr. Kisiel successfully obtained ACVS board certification in 2012. During her residency, Dr. Kisiel also completed a Master’s of Science degree program with her research focused on canine mesenchymal stem cells; her research findings were presented at the 2011 ACVS Veterinary Symposium and her work published in the American Journal of Veterinary Research.
Outside of work, Dr. Kisiel loves spending time with her family and their cat, Miss Kitty. Cycling, yoga, reading, and baking are some of her favourite hobbies.
