Dr. Allie Floras

Dr. Alexandra (Allie) Floras graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010. Wanting to further specialize beyond general practice, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She then returned to the Ontario Veterinary College to pursue a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, which she completed in parallel with a Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences in July 2014. She is a board certified diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Some of her professional interests include sepsis, pain management, acute kidney injury, mechanical ventilation, and trauma.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, training and racing for long distance triathlons, and spending time with her husband, children, and cat.
