Dr. Patten is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and is board-certified in veterinary oncology. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2012, Dr. Patten remained at OVC for specialty training completing a medical oncology residency (2017). Dr. Patten also obtained a master’s degree in cancer biology from the University of Guelph (2008). Dr. Patten has published several peer-reviewed journal articles relating to cancer biology and clinical veterinary oncology. As a member of the TVEH oncology service, Dr. Patten gets to practice cutting edge medicine, with colleagues who are passionate about the care of patients with cancer.
