Hi everyone, Jacqueline here, better known as "Jax" around the Western team!

Jacqueline completed her BSc at the University of Calgary with the intention of pursuing veterinary medicine. She initially worked at the Care Centre hoping to dip her toes into what this industry had to offer. Fortunately, she declined the opportunity to go to vet school and has since dedicated her career thus far to client service, management and pets!

Jacqueline has been with VCA Canada for 10 years now and is proud to be part of the incredible team at Western.

A big part of her life has also been her dance career. Jacqueline has been dancing for the better part of 25 years and recently retired from dancing professionally a few years ago. She continues to spend her free time as a dance instructor, having trained and taught everything from ballet, tap, and jazz to acrobatics and contemporary.

Jacqueline is born and raised in Calgary (a rare breed nowadays) and is so grateful to have her family and three schnauzers to spend my time with. Yes, better known as the #crazyschnauzerlady around the hospital. She enjoys playing volleyball and cooking, and vacationing in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
