Dillon's upbringing in a rural town in British Columbia nurtured his love for animals, which led him to pursue his education in Alberta. After attending the University of Calgary for Biological Sciences, he obtained a degree in Animal Health Technology from Olds College in 2013. Dillon embarked on a fulfilling career as a Registered Veterinary Technologist, gaining a wealth of Veterinary experiences before furthering his education at St. Matthew's University School of Veterinary Medicine completing his final year at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. Dillon is passionate about all facets of Veterinary Medicine, with a special interest in surgery, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and the care of reptile patients.

In his spare time, Dillon loves outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife Melissa and their cat Ronnie.
