Dr. Kira Penney graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI in 2010. She is certified in canine rehabilitation (CRI) and has taken veterinary acupuncture courses (IVAS). Since joining WCVM's rehabilitation service in 2015, Dr. Penney has provided care for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, potbellied pigs, and even injured wildlife. She is passionate about helping animals regain mobility and comfort through tailored rehabilitation plans. Outside of work, Dr. Penney enjoys spending time with her two Irish setters, Finnigan and Edward, and photographing the northern lights.
