Aylin Atilla, Surgery

Dr. Atilla graduated from high school in Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1996. From there, she decided to try school south of the border and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Cornell University. She happily moved back to Alberta and joined the team at VCA Canada Western Veterinary Centre and VCA Canada C.A.R.E. Centre. Since then she has helped teach at the UCVM and joined the faculty full time in October of 2013.

Dr. Atilla is especially interested in thoracic surgery, reconstructive surgery and wound management as well as oncologic surgery but is available to consult and perform a wide variety of soft tissue, oncologic, orthopedic and neurologic surgeries.
