Daniela grew up in Vancouver, BC and attended the University of British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology with Honours. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Daniela moved to Saskatoon, SK to obtain her veterinary degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine where she developed a keen interest in small animal medicine, oncology, and surgery. She is also passionate about community outreach and supporting the human-animal bond.

Outside of work, Daniela enjoys hiking, travelling, and spending time with her fiancé and their handsome and very spoiled cat Marlon.
